AIB needed a therapy-focused digital solution to help children and individuals with special educational needs improve their spelling, motor skill training, and word recognition.
The client needed several game modes with levels of difficulty and complete control over text- to-speech, keyboard layout and sensory feedback so as to be able to adjust the learning style and accessibility needs.

BrainX worked hand-in-hand with AIB to research user requirements using stakeholder interviews, and iterative wireframes. We benchmarked therapeutic learning apps and integrated industry best practices in accessibility and feedback mechanisms.
A modular, scalable approach was adopted, allowing the motor skill training app to grow with future requirements.
The AIB Communicate motor skill training app offers a fully interactive, cross-platform learning environment focused on spelling and vocabulary. Key features include:
Customizable CTS Module (Communicate Through Spelling):
Vocabulary Builder:
Game Modes for Motor Skills:
Performance History & Analytics:
Settings Module:

The app significantly improved engagement and learning outcomes for children in therapeutic and educational settings.
